We will be dressed to impress for our wedding, and would love for you to wear your finest also! However, we want our guests to be as comfortable as possible, so any guests who have difficulties with formal clothing should feel free to wear whatever they feel their best in.
There will be plenty of opportunities to eat and drink throughout the day: tea and coffee is available on arrival; a cocktail party will be held after the ceremony with drinks and canapés; all guests will indulge in a three-course wedding breakfast (as indicated on the RSVP); cheese boards are provided in the late evening. The venue will be operating a cash bar in the evening (card only, no AMEX).
The wedding takes place at Hedingham Castle, in Castle Hedingham,
Essex. There is parking available at the venue. Alternatively, the
nearest train stations are Sudbury, Braintree and Marks Tey; you can
take a taxi from the station to the venue using any of the taxi
companies listed on the
venue
page.
Please ensure you book your evening taxis well ahead of time to
avoid getting stranded at the venue. The area is very rural and it
will not be possible to get a taxi at short notice.
As we have been living together for quite a few years now, we don't require any household items. We would appreciate any cash gifts to contribute towards our honeymoon, alternatively any physical gifts are also appreciated.
