Please arrange to arrive at the venue at 2pm for tea and coffee, with latest arrival by 2:40pm to allow you to be seated in the Banqueting Hall on the 1st floor of the castle for the ceremony.
The castle has several floors, and you will be guided between these as the day goes on. We also have exclusive use of the lovely castle grounds, where our drinks reception will take place after the ceremony.
For guests arriving by car, there is parking on the grounds. If travelling by public transport, the closest train stations are Sudbury (15 minute drive), Braintree (27 min drive) and Marks Tey (30 min drive). There are local busses or taxis available.
The wedding day will end with the Last Dance at 11:45pm.
Please arrange your own transport off the grounds by 12pm at the
latest.
If you are not driving to the venue, we strongly recommend prebooking a taxi for this time to avoid being stranded. You will be able to be included in group taxi arrangements if you select this option on the RSVP form.

The area is very rural and not serviced by ride-share apps
